Mark Moore
Vice President, Business Development & Instructor
Mark Moore serves as the Vice President, Business Development and is responsible for the oversight of all project development for all three business groups of ITG® Consultants, Inc. He also serves as a Senior Instructor and Subject Matter Expert in the training programs provided by one of those business units, the International Training Group®.
Mr. Moore has more than twenty-one years of international experience in both the military and private sector providing security management, protective operations leadership, training development, and consulting services. His unique combination of private sector experience includes providing close protection to a former U.S. Secretary of State and his wife; managing global asset security and the family protection detail for the world’s wealthiest man; leading a large team of international security specialists in their assignment to “assist, guide, and train” the fledgling Secret Service of a high-risk, third world nation; and serving as a security consultant on Wall Street, post 9/11.
During his distinguished service in the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Moore directed the advance planning and security operations necessary for the “Marine One” Presidential Helicopter Squadron on more than a dozen state visits by Presidents Reagan and Bush (41). He also led a Special Reaction Team in its conduct of hostage rescue, high-risk warrant service, and search/rescue/recovery operations. Additionally, he was meritoriously promoted for performance in the top 1% of all Marine Corps Senior Drill Instructors.
Throughout his career, Mr. Moore has led protective operations, teams of consultants, and mobile training teams in more than forty countries and has lent his expertise to various aspects of numerous high-profile special events. These include three Olympic Games, two World Trade Organization meetings, three CEO Summits, and one FIFA World Cup.
Mr. Moore has been the recipient of many awards and honors throughout his career including the Presidential Service Badge from President Reagan and the Haitian Presidential Service Award.
