The President's Corner

I'm pleased to announce that Mr. Mark K. Moore is joining us full time as Vice President of Business Development.  As many of you know Mark has been working with us for years in one capacity or another and is what, we used to call in the Army, both tactically and technically proficient in the field of providing executive security services, tactical operations, training and consulting activities that relate to our core competencies.  As we move forward, Mark intends to leverage the ITG® Alumni Association heavily and is crafting ideas that will be mutually beneficial to those who help us develop new business opportunities.  He’s currently plying our trade and has a number of international commitments that he is meeting but as he crafts his approach for us, he will be sharing his thoughts and soliciting support from the Alumni through our Alumni Newsletters.  Mark can be contacted through mmoore@itg4.com for those of you who already know him.

We are in the final stages of obtaining our security company licensing in California and anticipate opening our operational business unit that will be known as ITG® Protective Services and we are excited about the potential to support our clients with some of the most well trained agents in the industry today.  With over 300 alumni across the United States and in several foreign countries, all of whom can operate under the same protective doctrine and understand all of the roles within protective operations, we will be able to provide outstanding support and raise the bar within this industry even further.  We are estimating that ITG® Protective Services will be up and running the first quarter of 2008.  Jake Ashton will be advising the ITG® Alumni Association through their newsletter of how to apply for employment by us for those who may be interested.

As we head into the holiday season, I am reminded yet again that service always requires sacrifice.  Many folks currently, serving both in uniform and out, will be away from home during these times and many are deployed in harm’s way yet again this year.  At ITG® we value those who serve our nation in one capacity or another and have a special place in our hearts for those who serve protecting America’s leadership, no matter what sector of our society they may be supporting.  Whether the protectees are from the government, military, corporate, entertainment or other field of endeavor, those that receive such protection have risen to positions of leadership within their fields.  A functioning democracy requires that they have freedom of movement and an ability to perform their functions in a safe and secure environment and many of the folks we know endeavor on a daily basis to ensure that kind of security environment exists.  We thank you for your service and sincerely hope that your sacrifice is no worse than that of being away from home at this time of year.

Stay tuned for more news and be sure to sign up for our newsletter if you haven’t done so already.

Sincerely,
David L. Johnson, CHS-V

"Two things that stand out to me is the wealth of knowledge possessed by the instructors and their enthusiasm for sharing it.  The passion for the craft shows through extremely well."
